Celebrate the rich, human history

that lies not only in our community,

but within your own family.

Visit this new exhibit in our Local History Room to discover ways that you can preserve family treasures, such as clothing, artifacts and pictures. You may also view historic photographs and items related to a number of early Oak Lawn families, including the Brandt’s, Chamberlain’s, Schultz’s and others.

To further enhance our archives, Oak Lawn residents are invited to contribute current or past family photographs for a special part of the exhibit featuring Oak Lawn families.

Thank you to all those who support Oak Lawn History and the upcoming Centennial Celebration!  For more information about this and other local history topics, contact Local History Coordinator Kevin Korst by phone, 708-422-4990.
