Computer Center

The Computer Center, located on the second floor in the east end of the Reference Services Department, includes 30 computers for public use. Each of those computers provides access to the Microsoft Office suite of products (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Word) as well as access to the internet. Printing is available on all computers for 10 cents per page (effective 1/1/09) for black & white printouts and $1.00 per page for color. Use of the computers is free to Oak Lawn residents that present a valid library card. Residents must obtain a library card to use the computer center for free.

A free 10 minute "Walk-Up Station" is available for checking email or printing documents. All non-residents must pay $1.00 per logon (one hour) for extended use.

There is a limit of one logon per day. Time may be reset, by presenting library card to staff, when enough computers are available.

A picture ID is required to reset the password on any account.
