Hands-on classes (*Effective 1/1/09 a $5 fee will be required at time of registration. No money will be refunded.) are taught in the Computer Center on most Thursdays from 9-10:30 a.m. Participants must be skilled with using a mouse and keyboard. Class topics include: Introduction to Windows Vista, Introduction to the Internet, Setting Up an Email Account and Introduction to Microsoft Word. Advance registration is required. For detailed information about upcoming classes, please check the Computer Center, pick up a flyer in our lobby or call 708-422-4990. Limit: 15 per class.

Drop-In Computer Help
On Wednesdays from 9-11 and 7:30-8:30 staff will be available to answer your questions and walk you through basic computer tasks. Go to the Computer Center Desk (2nd floor). Time will be limited to 15-20 minutes to allow opportunity for those who may be waiting. (printable flyer)
Online DVD Training The Oak Lawn Public Library has recently obtained a subscription for online training. Online DVD training is provided by Total Training and covers just about any current Adobe and Microsoft product. This online training is available FREE to Oak Lawn residents with a valid library card (Non-residents must pay a $1/hour computer usage fee.). (detailed flyer)
